Awakened by a dream,
I lie in bed with eyes open.
The gentle breathing of my bride
Reminds me that I am not alone.
Her perfect knees and ankles touch me restfully
As I am brought into the moment by her arms.
The amphibians at waters edge,
Just outside our window,
Try out their best new songs;
Searching for a mate in the dark.
I rise to find some water
As I gaze upon her charms.
